Frobishers Wigs Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and that any information given to us is held securely and treated as confidential. We take all reasonable steps to protect your information.

We will never provide or sell your personal details to any 3rd party for marketing or mailing purposes.

What we collect

When you make a purchase with us through our website, we will require certain pieces of information to fulfill our agreement with you and to process your order and obtain payment.

The types of Information required would be; purchasers name, and home address, delivery address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Payment details will be processed by the secure PayPal site for web sales. For any shop sales or payments made over the telephone or at a hospital, these payments will be processed via Worldpay. 

Information that you provide to us via telephone, letter or e-mail voluntarily maybe kept to help deliver your item or service.

We may be in receipt of information about you from NHS Trusts, if you are receiving treatment from their Trust and they are subsidising or funding a wig to you.  As an approved supplier to various NHS Trusts, this information is supplied to enable us to provide you with a wig, wig accessories, or alternative head wear.

We do not view or hold any credit card details.

What we do with the information we gather

The information collected allows us to carry out our obligations to provide the items or services that you have requested, paid for or are entitled to.

It will also allow us to process your order in an efficient and secure manner. It allows us to communicate with you regarding your order status.

Gathering this information will allow us to understand your needs and provide you with a better service. It can also help us improve our products and services.

We may periodically send promotional e-mails about new products, services or special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the e-mail provided, if you have consented to this.

We may hold your details and purchase history of products that we have supplied you. This information is processed to help facilitate any guarantees, warranties, NHS entitlements and NHS procurement processes.

Following the principles of the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (GDPR), we ensure that we securely process all personal data by means of technical and organisational measures.

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Once you agree to make a purchase with us online, you will be connected via a secure connection to the PayPal payment service. All data sent to and from the PayPal site will be encrypted. You will be able to pay either with an existing PayPal account or using a credit or debit card. If you pay with a PayPal account, PayPal will take your payment in the way you have already agreed with them. If you pay by credit or debit card, the PayPal system will take the card details and request the payment from your card supplier. You may be asked for additional information to authenticate the transaction.

After the transaction you will be returned to the Frobishers website and we will be informed of successful payment. The standard PayPal and Credit or Debit Card buyers protection will apply to the purchase.

How we use cookies

A cookie consists of information sent by a web server to a web browser, and stored by the browser. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser.

We will use session cookies to keep track of you whilst you navigate the website and to collect information prior to making a purchase.  Session cookies will be deleted from your computer when you close your browser.

We also use Google Analytics to analyse the usage of the site and to help us ensure that the site is meeting the needs of our users. Google Analytics uses a number of cookies but these do not collect or store your personal information (e.g. your name or address) so this information cannot be used to identify who you are. We do not allow Google to use or share our analytics data.
